Aaron Wright is a 2007 graduate who was a four-year letterman in baseball. A native of McGehee, Arkansas, he excelled as an All-State outfielder and also received All-District honors in football and basketball. A four-year starter, the hard hitting right-hand batter had a .344 career batting average and produced 81 runs batted in (RBIs). He also was the back-to-back team leader in batting average during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. His most productive season happened in 2005 when he was ranked 10th in the nation with a .366 batting average. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in business management, he played independent professional baseball for two years in Texas where injuries derailed his career. However, his passion for baseball continued through coaching and mentoring young players. He was an Amazon Delivery Service Partner for five years and now owns a real estate company.
