Creative Lions is the student creative team of University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Athletics, dedicated to telling the stories of Golden Lion student-athletes, coaches and the community that supports them. Through photography, videography, graphic design, social media and digital storytelling, the team captures the energy of competition and the moments behind the scenes that define UAPB Athletics.

Supporting 14 sports, Creative Lions contributes to game day coverage, promotional campaigns, athlete features and content for the department’s digital platforms. From capturing a defining play to producing videos that bring fans closer to their favorite teams, members help showcase the talent, personality and pride within each program.

Creative Lions played a significant role in helping UAPB earn the Southwestern Athletic Conference’s Sports Information Department of the Year award for the 2025-2026 academic year. The team’s contributions to creative content, storytelling and coverage helped elevate the department’s visibility and highlight the accomplishments of Golden Lion student-athletes.

Beyond content creation, Creative Lions serves as a space for student development, giving aspiring creatives hands-on experience in collegiate athletics. Members build professional portfolios while developing skills in content production, collaboration, communication and working under deadlines. The team emphasizes creativity, accountability and attention to detail, preparing students for opportunities in sports media, communications and the broader creative industry.

Established in 2024, Creative Lions continues to develop student talent while expanding the reach and visibility of UAPB Athletics.
