NCAA Compliance is shared responsibility among all UAPB Athletics stakeholders. Your adherence to all applicable NCAA rules and regulations is essential as we strive to maintain and enhance our athletic prominence while protecting the University's legacy. Be mindful of your interaction with prospective and current UAPB student-athletes, their families and friends. We must always seek the highest standard of ethical conduct. With your assistance and cooperation, we believe we can accomplish these goals.

Mission Statement
 
The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Office of Athletic Compliance is committed to the principle of institutional control. Our goal is to adhere to NCAA, SWAC, and institutional rules by delivering a  comprehensive compliance program that educates its coaches, student-athletes, prospective student-athletes, athletics representatives, and those groups that support our 15 varsity sports and 300 student-athletes.Also, clarify responsibilities and set expectations by enforcing awareness, reporting and accountability. Rules and procedures are updated and changed if any risks occur.

Purpose

To ensure institutional control and to uphold the integrity of the Athletics Department, the Office of Athletic Compliance is charged with the following tasks:
  • Education and Training - Educate coaches, staff, student-athletes, and other individuals involved with the athletics program regarding NCAA and conference rules, as well as the compliance expectations of UAPB University. 
  • Monitoring - Monitor all aspects of the UAPB athletics department in order to ensure compliance with NCAA and conference rules.  
  • Reporting - Investigate and report any NCAA rules violations according to schedule. Full cooperation with the NCAA in all investigations with truthful and complete information concerning involvement of any violation of NCAA. 
  • Accountability- Help all UAPB Athletics comply and maintain competency with all NCAA conference rules and hold each individual responsible to report any violation of these rules. Each person's accountability in their daily work activities contributes to a strong culture of ethics and compliance at UAPB. UAPB is a responsible steward of public and private resources and the public trust.
