Box Score CONWAY, Ark. (Feb. 15) - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Softball team dropped a 10-2 decision to the University of Central Arkansas in five innings, here Wednesday afternoon at Farris Field.<br />

UCA (1-5) finished the contest with a game high eight hits. The Sugar Bears was led by Briana Whisenhunt, who went a perfect three-for-three from the plate, scoring three runs and driving two.<br />

UAPB (1-5) tallied five hits in the game with
Kameron Graham finishing with two hits to lead the Lady Lions.<br />
 <br />
Ellie Reaves (1-1) picked up the win for UCA. She pitched four and one-third innings, allowing five hits, one earned run and striking out one in the 20 batters she faced. <br />
 <br />
Karia Beth Hall (1-5) received the loss for UAPB. Hall towed the rubber for four and one-third innings, allowing eight hits, eight earned runs and striking out six in the 29 batters she faced.<br />

UAPB plated their first run of the game on a Graham double to right center scoring
Alexandria Taylor in the top of the first inning to give the Lady Lions a 1-0 lead over UCA.<br />
 <br />
UCA tied the contest at 1-1 in their half of the first inning on a Shepherd single to right field scoring Wisenhurt, who doubled to right center in her at-bat.<br />
 <br />
The Sugars Bears increased their lead to 7-1 with UCA plating two runs in their half of the second, third and fourth innings.<br />
 <br />
Ty'Lyn Moody scored the Lady Lions second run of the contest on an UCA fielding error to cut the Sugar Bears' lead to 7-2 in the top of the fifth inning.<br />
 <br />
UCA would plate three runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to invoke the eight-run rule for the 10-2 win over UAPB.<br />
