Box Score CONWAY, Ark. (Feb. 10) - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Softball dropped an 11-2 decision to the University of Central Arkansas in five innings, here Tuesday afternoon at Farris Field.

UAPB finished the contest with four hits with
Tonnay Hawkins,
Maria Aguilar,
Jasmine Hardwrick, and
Taiyler Clark finished with one hit each for the Lady Lions, while UCA tallied five hits.

Kylee Studioso (3-1) picked the win for UCA as she pitched five innings, allowing four hits and striking out 11 batters in the 22 batters she faced, whereas Â
Shanice Murry (0-1) got the start for the Lady Lions as she gave up four hits, five earned runs and striking out two in the 24 batters she faced.  In relief
Makayla Hunter recorded two-thirds inning in the circle as she gave up one hit, and two earned runs in the five batters she faced.

UCA jumped out to a 5-0 lead as they plated one run in their half of the first and four in their in half of the second.

UAPB plated their first run of the contest in the top of the third inning with Clark scoring on a
Tiressa Jacobs fielder choice.

The Bears increased their lead to 11-1 as they pushed across one run in the bottom of the third and five runs in the bottom of the fourth inning.

UAPB scored their final run of the contest in the top of the fifth inning as Clark scored her second run of the game on an UCA infield fielding  error.
