BIRMINGHAM, Ala – For her outstanding performance during the week of Feb. 17-23, University of Arkansas Pine Bluff hitter Jasmine Hardwrick have been named Southwestern Athletic Conference Hitter of the Week.

A sophomore from Foreman, Arkansas in five games last week, Hardwrick hit a homerun, one double, one triple and six RBI. Her batting average for the week was .500. She scored four runs total, two apiece against Drexel and South Dakota State. The Lady Lions defeated the Dragons on 2/21; Hardwrick recorded two RBI and went three-for-four at the plate.
