Pine Bluff, the AR.-The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff softball team, will host conference foe Jackson State Tigers in a doubleheader Monday at 2 and 4 p.m. and Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Torii Hunter Softball Complex.

The Lady Lions are coming off a heartbreaking loss (3-2) in the last inning with two outs against Alcorn St. last weekend in Vicksburg, MS. before the game was postponed due to Covid-19 protocols. 
 

"The key for us is to continue to put the ball in play at every bat so that we can execute and seal the win in future games,'' said Head Coach Michael Bumpers.
 

The Lady Lions is led at the plate by Felicia Drake, who's batting .227, followed by Sydney Green, who leads the team in home runs with one.  
 

Jackson St is coming off a 7-6 loss to Grambling St. led by Ariana Cruz at the plate, who's batting .346.
