Box Score PINE BLUFF, Ark. - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Lady Lions softball team used a three-run fourth inning to storm back and defeat Prairie View A&M 4-3 in Southwestern Athletic Conference action at the Torii Hunter Softball Complex in game one of the three-game series.
Prairie View took a 1-0 lead in the first inning and held that lead until the bottom of the fourth inning when UAPB came alive.
Alexandria Taylor took advantage of a passed ball and scored the first run for the Lady Lions. Later in the inning,
Tonnay Hawkins reached first base on an error, scoring both
Kayla Ross and
Kameron Graham.
The Lady Panthers cut the deficit to one run after scoring in the top of the fifth; however, UAPBÂ scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the sixth when Hawkins produced a RBI single to center field, bringing home
Tamira Chatman.

Angelique Ramos (6-9) picked up the victory for the Lady Lions as she struck out one batter, allowed three earned runs and eight hits in seven innings of work while Crystal Castillo was credited with the loss for Prairie View.
Hawkins finished 1-for-4 from the plate with 3 RBI.
UAPBÂ (14-24, 9-5 SWAC) returns to action on Saturday, April 21 for games two and three of the 3-game series. First pitch on Senior Day is set for 12 noon at the Torii Hunter Softball Complex. A brief senior presentation will be held in between games two and three.Â
