After two scoreless innings, the Lady Lions broke the 0-0 tie with four huge runs in the bottom of the third inning as Dominique Humphrey hit her third home run of the series with a two-run shot to left field that scored Kameron Graham. Shortly after, pitcher Juliana Dominguez and the UAPB defense closed the door on any comeback attempt. Dominguez (2-4) pitched the entire game and was credited with the victory as she struck out one batter and gave up just one earned run in seven innings while Alyssa Montes (3-2) picked up the loss for Valley.

Moody finished 3-for-4 while teammate Taylor matched her and went 3-for-4 from the plate but also added two RBI in the victory. Humphrey and Ross also generated two RBI each.
