Box Score PINE BLUFF, Ark. (Feb. 25) - Grambling State handed the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Men's Basketball team a 78-58 loss, here Saturday night at the H.O. Clemmons Arena.
UAPB (7-23, 6-10 SWAC) was led by JoeRandle Toliver with 12 points and
Jaquan Lynch with 11.
Ghiavonni Robinson led the Golden Lions on the boards with six rebounds.
GSU (13-15, 8-7 SWAC) had four players to score in double-figures with Avery Ugba finishing with 24 points and 13 rebound for a double-double on the night. Ervin Mitchell finished with 17 points, followed by Remond Brown with 12 and Nigel Ribeiro with 10. Chase Cormier led the Tigers in assists with five.
UAPB went into the intermission trailing GSU, 37-29 with the Golden Lions finishing the first half shooting 36.0 percent (9-of-25), while the Tigers shot 52.2 percent (12-of-23).
GSU outscored UAPB, 41-29 in the second half for the 78-58 win. UAPB finished the contest shooting 39.1 percent (18-of-46), while GSU shot 47.4 percent (27-of-57).
