Box Score HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Golden Lions allowed No. 20 Cincinnati to extend the nation's longest home winning streak to 32 after suffering a 77-49 loss on the road at BB&T Arena. The Bearcats opened up the game on a 26-2 run and never looked back as Cane Broome finished with a game-high 17 points. Travon Harper led UAPB with 16 points, eight rebounds and two steals while shooting 8-for-10 from the free throw line. Teammate Martaveous McKnight chipped in with 10 points, two rebounds and two assists in the loss.
The loss marks number 13 in a row for UAPB as it continues its brutal 17-game road schedule before hosting its first home game of the season in January.
Senior Joe'Randle Toliver had a solid output off the bench, scoring nine points, grabbing eight boards and dishing out three assists. As a team UAPB shot 36 percent from the field (18-of-50) while its opponent shot 45 percent from the field (26-of-58). Turnovers haunted UAPB as it committed 22 on the night, giving up a total of 13 steals to the Bearcats.
The Golden Lions basketball team returns to action on Friday, December 22 as it faces the University of Tennessee at Martin. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
