Box Score PINE BLUFF, Ark. (Feb. 6) - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Men's Basketball team dropped their second straight in a 71-66 loss to Alabama A&M, here Saturday afternoon at the H.O. Clemmons Arena.

UAPB led the entire second half until Ladarius Tabb nailed a three pointer for AAMU to give them a 59-58 lead with 6:02 remaining in the contest, capping a 15-10 run by the Bulldogs.

Marquis Cunningham regain the lead for the Golden Lions on his layup at the 5:36 mark, giving UAPB a 60-59 lead.

AAMU then went on an 8-1 run to take a 67-61 lead on a Nicholas West put back with 2:11 left in the contest as the Bulldogs held on for the 71-66 win.

UAPB finished the contest shooting 47.3 percent (26-of-55), while AAMU shot 42.9 percent (21-of-49).

In the first half, UAPB grabbed a 13-7 lead on
JoVaughn Love put back at the 13:52 mark of the contest.Â

AAMU used an 11-5 run to take a 37-36 lead into the break.
The Golden Lions finished the first half shooting 48.4 percent (15-of-31), while the Bulldogs shot 45.4 percent (11-of-24).

UAPB (5-19, 3-7 SWAC) had a pair of Golden Lions to score in double-figures with Cunningham scoring a team high 18 points and eight rebounds, while Love finished with 17.
