Box Score LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Dec. 8) - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Men's Basketball team dropped a 62-52 contest to the University of Little Rock, here Thursday night at the Jack Stephens Center.
 
UAPB (1-8) was led by Jaquan Lynch with team high 17 points and five rebounds.  Kennedy McKinney chipped in six points and Trent Steen, Marcus Wallace and Charles Jackson added five.
 
LR (7-2) was led by Maurius Hill with 21 points, followed by Jalen Jackson with 16 and Kemy Osse with10.  The Trojans had four players to finish with six rebounds apiece and Marcus Johnson led the team in assists with four.
 
UAPB opened the first half with a 16-8 lead on a Marquis Cunningham jumper with 11:33 to go.  LR closed out the half with a 16-10 run to cut UAPB's lead to 26-24.
 
The Golden Lions went into break with a 26-24 lead over the Trojans.  UAPB finishing the first half shooting 43.5 percent (10-of-23), while LR shot 35.7 percent (10-of-28). 
 
LR opened the second half with a 16-4 run to take a 40-28 lead on a Jackson jumper with 15:42 remaining in the contest.
 
The Golden Lions pulled within six on a Wallace jumper with 12:26 to go in the game, cutting LR's lead to 44-38, capping 10-4 run by the Golden Lions.
 
LR then used a 13-6 run to take a 59-42 lead on a Johnson three pointer with 6:17 left in the contest.
 
UAPB finished the contest shooting 44.4 percent (20-of-45), while LR shot 45.5 percent (25-of-55).
