UAPB OPENS SWAC PLAY MONDAY NIGHT AT MISSISSIPPI VALLEY

Pine Bluff, Ark.-  The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff  Men's and Women's basketball team opens their SWAC (Southwestern Athletic Conference) portion of its campaign Monday night January 4, 2016 at 5:30 p.m. CT when the squad hit the road to face Mississippi Valley in Greenwood, MS. at the Civic Center.

Both teams are coming off one of the toughest non conference schedules in the conference and looking forward to tonight's matchup vs. Mississippi Valley.

The game will feature two Delta Devils Alumni returning to face their former school, men head basketball coach George Ivory and women head coach Nate Kilbert, making their 2016 conference debut.

Following the outing against Mississippi Valley, the Golden Lions, men and women  will hit the road for back-to-back contests against Alabama A&M (Jan. 9) and Alabama St. (Jan. 11).
