Box Score Pine Bluff, AR- Jordan Washington scored 17 points on 5-of-10 shooting and grabbed five rebounds to lead Mississippi Valley to a stunning 67-63 victory over The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff in conference play at the H.O. Clemmons Arena.

With the game tied at 63 with 2:07 remaining, Latrell Love hit a layup to give the Delta Devils (2-12, 1-0 SWAC) the lead for good in the second half.
 
UAPB jumped out to a fast start and their largest lead of the game 21-8 in the first eight minutes of the first half, before Valley stormed back to take a three point lead at the half 34-31.
 
The Golden Lions (3-12, 0-1 SWAC) had a final opportunity to take the lead, trailing 65-63 with 34 seconds left, but Thaddeus Handley three point shot went around the rim before falling out.
 
Latrell Love led the Delta Devils comeback with 13 points and five rebounds off the bench.

JoVaughn Love recorded his first double-double of the season with 24 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists, two blocks and one steal, followed by conference leading scorer Marcel Mosley with 14 points, eight assist and six steals and Ghiavonni Robinson chipped in 10 points for UAPB.

The Golden Lions will be back in action at home verse Alabama St. Jan. 10, at 7:30 p.m.
