BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southwestern Athletic Conference has selected Arkansas Pine Bluff guard Marcel Mosley as its SWAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for February 18.

Mosley scored a career high 28 points and helped UAPB hand Southern its second loss of the season in conference play. In 31 minutes of action, Mosley shot 10-of-15 from field for 66 percent Saturday night. The Marion, Ark native also scored the team's last 10 points of the game.

Monday at Alcorn State, he logged 37 minutes and responded with a 16 point effort. That performance notched his eighth consecutive game scoring in double figures including the last 11 out of 12.
