"It's making us tougher," Golden Lions Head Coach George Ivory told the Pine Bluff Commercial. "This will make it easier when we get to SWAC play.  After playing these teams, we know what we have to do against our conference teams. I mean, we won't play teams as skilled or athletic the rest of the way."

Mosley was 7 of 14 from the field and 5 of 7 from long range. He leads the Southwestern Conference in scoring and 3-pointers made.

Anthony Brown had 16 points, followed by Stefan Nastic with 13 points and Chasson Randle with 11 for the Cardinals.
The Golden Lions finished 13 of 41 shooting, a 31.7 percentage compared to Stanford 25 of 49, 51.0 percentage and shot 11 of 17 from behind the arc.

The Golden Lions look to bounce back when they open conference play at home Saturday Jan. 3 in a cross the state line rivalry against Mississippi Valley at 7:30 pm follows after the women game.
