UAPB CONTINUES ROAD TRIP AGAINST AKRON

Akron, OH – The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Men's Basketball team will continue its week long road trip on Tuesday when the Golden Lions head to Akron, Ohio to face University of Akron at 7 p.m. (EST). 

In addition to this being part of a long road trip, UAPB (1-5) is in the midst of a stretch that began with the Akron game on Tuesday and Michigan St. on Saturday Dec. 6 in Lansing, Michigan.  
 
UAPB will play their next eight games away from the H.O. Clemmons Arena.  The Golden Lions will host their first home game, January 3 against conference rivalry Mississippi Valley.

UAPB is coming off a heart-breaking 69-60 loss at Ohio on Tuesday as the Bobcats rallied in the last three minutes of the second half to earn the victory. Senior guard Marcel Mosley led the Golden Lions with 20 points and five rebounds, while sophomore guard Ghiavonni Robinson added 17 points and a team-best three steals.  


Akron is (4-2) this season and is coming off a narrow 72-66 defeat over Bryant Bulldogs on Sunday.  The Zips are led by Noah Robotham with 13.3 points per game and Demetrius Treadwell with 10.0 points per game. 

This will mark the second meeting between Akron and UAPB withthin three years.  The game wil be live sream on http://gozips.sidearmsports.com/watch/?Live=50
