JoVaughn Love score a team high 16 point and recorded six steals for the University of Arkansas at Pine Men's Basketball team as the Golden Lions dropped a 75-43 decision to Central Michigan in their final game of the CMU Tourney, here Saturday afternoon at McGuirk Arena.
Tevin Hammond was the only other Golden Lion to score in double figures as he finished the contest with 12.
Jaylon Floyd led UAPB on the boards with five.
UAPB (1-4) finished the first half shooting 40.9 percent (9-of-22), whereas CMU shot 30.8 percent (8-of-26) as the Chippewas went into the break with a 37-22 lead at the half.
CMU (4-0) was led by Braylon Rayson with 18 points, followed by Rayshawn Simmons with 10, while Austin Stewart recorded seven rebounds to lead the Chippewas on the boards.
The Golden Lions finished the contest shooting 32.7 percent (17-of-52), while CMU shot 43.5 percent (20-of-46).
UAPB will return to action on Tuesday, November 25 as they will take on Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.
