Box Score Honolulu (Nov.15)- The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Golden Lions rallied from a seven-point second half deficit to take a four-point lead with six minutes to go, but the High Point Panthers finished the game on a 20-8 run and went on to win game three in the 50^th Anniversary Outrigger Resorts Classic, 74-62, Saturday night at Stan Sheriff Arena.

High Point jumped ahead early in the game, going up 13-4 in the opening minutes, but UAPB immediately answered with a 22-13 run that Senior Marcel Mosley capped with a layup with a steal by Devin Berry at the 3:12 mark in the first half. That tied the game up at 26-26, before the Golden Lions went into intermission down 32-28.

Pre-season All-SWAC First team Marcel Mosley scored his a game high, led all scorers with 26 points and two steals. Junior, JoVaughn Love finishes with 12 point, DeAndre McIntyre and Ghiavonni Robinson with eight a piece.

However, in the second half it was 16 points in the paint that was the difference for High Point, compared to UAPB six points. Big South preseason Player of the Year John Brown scored 19 of his points and was joined by Brian Richardson with 14 points and Lorenzo Gugini with 14 points off the bench. The Panthers shot 25-for-47 (53.2%) while UAPB shot 22-for-51 (43.1%)

The Golden Lions led by four in the second half 51-47 on a jumper from McIntyre with 9:45 to play. The Panthers then went on that 5-0 run, to take the lead by two free throws down the stretch to ice the win.

High Point finished hitting 17-of-21 (81.0 percent) from the free throw line. The Golden Lions went 10-for-15 (66.7 percent).
