The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff men's basketball team will play Big West foe Hawaii Warriors in the first-round of the 50th Outrigger Resorts Rainbow Classic, Friday, November 14 at 7:30 pm. pacific time zone, which will be 11:30 pm. central time zone.
The Golden Lions are participating in the Rainbow Classic for the second time in school history. UAPB has last played in the Rainbow Classic in 2012
Joining UAPB and Hawaii in the field for the Rainbow Classic are High Point and Cal Bakersfield.
This game will mark the third-ever meeting between UAPB and Hawaii, in which Hawaii leads 2-0. The Warriors won the previous meetings with the score 81-54 win in their last meeting, November 11, 2012.
UAPB will play High Point in their second game of the Rainbow Classic, Saturday, November 15 and Cal Bakersfield on November 17. This will be the first meeting between the two teams..
The Rainbow Classic will be played at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu, November 14-17. All the games in the Rainbow Classic will be broadcast on live video streaming on the Big West.tv and the High Point vs. Hawaii game Monday November 17 will be aired on ESPN2.
Each team will play one game each day, the teams that have the best record after three days meeting wins the championship.
