Box Score Pine Bluff, AR. - Coming off its second loss of the season at home, the Alcorn St. Braves defeated the Golden
Lions 71-45 in Monday night matchup.

The Lions (4-13,2-3 SWAC) loss their third straight conference game, which is something Coach Ivory will fix immediately.

Davon Haynes led the Golden Lions with another double-double, 22 points and 10 rebounds.

UAPB led from the get-go as Daniel Broughton nailed a jump shot giving the Lions a 2-0 lead.
The Lions had a 13-12 lead with 12:13 in the first half before; the Braves stormed back and went on an 11-0 run to increase the score to 22-13 with a lay-up by Leantwan Luckett .

The Lions played their worse game in Coach Ivory 6^th year with the team.
Alcorn St. scored 12 points off turnovers in the first half to make it 33-20 at the break.

The Lions manage to fight back, but the key also in the game was bench play, with Alcorn outscoring UAPB 25-4 in the second half.

Octavius Brown carried the Braves with 20 points; follow by LeAntwan Luckett with 19 points and Twan Oakley with 16 points.
