PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas- Jourdan DeMuynck tallied 18 points and hit the game-winning free throws with 22 seconds left to give Prairie View a 76-75 victory over UAPB on in conference play.
 
UAPB's Lazabian Jackson hit five 3-pointers and scored 21 for the Golden Lions (2-18, 1-6). Daniel Broughton added 20 while SWAC scoring leader Savalace Townsend netted 16 points.
 
A Broughton three-point play helped give Arkansas-Pine Bluff a 75-72 advantage with 1:14 left to play but PVAMU's Chapman connected on a jump shot bringing the score to 75-74 with 1:01 remaining.
 
The Golden Lions were unable to convert on their next attempt and Prairie View's DeMuynck was fouled and converted both free throws. Arkansas-Pine Bluff had one last opportunity, but Mitchell Anderson was unable to convert on a 3-point attempt.
 
Arkansas-Pine Bluff host Grambling State on Saturday, January 28th, at 7:00 pm at H.O. Clemmons Arena.
