PINE BLUFF, Ark.- Allen Smith scored 26 points, leading six Arkansas-Pine Bluff players in double figures, as the Golden Lions defeated Prairie View 90-85 in double overtime Monday night.
Savalace Townsend added 12 points, Daniel Broughton and Ricky Parks each had 11 and Gavin Montgomery and Terrell Kennedy 10 for Arkansas-Pine Bluff (3-16, 3-4 Southwestern Athletic Conference).
Smith also had nine assists for the Golden Lions who finished with 23 on 30 made field goals.
UAPB held a 38-37 lead at halftime as the Golden Lions erupted offensively for their highest point output of the season.
