UAPB Brings One of the Region’s Biggest Recruiting Events to War Memorial Stadium This Friday

PINE BLUFF, AR. — The wait is almost over. In just four days, the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) Golden Lions Football program will transform War Memorial Stadium into one of the most electric recruiting environments in the South when the Golden Lions Football Mega Camp kicks off Friday, June 19, 2026.

The camp will feature two sessions: the offensive line and defensive line from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by quarterbacks, wide receivers, defensive backs, running backs and specialists from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

This is not your average camp. This is a Mega Camp and it lives up to the name.

Coaches and evaluators from a powerhouse lineup of collegiate programs will be on the sidelines, including New Mexico State, Louisiana Tech, Rice University, Sacramento State, the University of Central Arkansas (UCA), Jackson State, Grambling State and many more. In one single day, at one legendary venue, aspiring student-athletes will have the rare chance to compete in front of dozens of college coaches spanning multiple conferences and levels of play.

For many young players, this Friday could be the day everything changes.

War Memorial Stadium the crown jewel of Arkansas football will set the stage for a showcase unlike anything this region has seen this summer. The atmosphere will be intense, the competition will be fierce, and the opportunity will be real.

Every rep, every route and every 40-yard dash will be measured with precision using technology from Brower Timing Systems and Vitruve VBT, giving each athlete verified, professional-grade performance data they can take directly to recruiters.

Prep Redzone, one of the most respected recruiting platforms in the nation, will also be on site to amplify athletes' exposure far beyond the stadium walls.
