#UAPBSoccer Hits The Road For In-State Match At Central Arkansas

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff women's soccer team heads down to Conway, Ark., to square off against Central Arkansas tonight, at the Bill Stephens Track/Soccer Complex at 7 pm. The Lady Lions will be looking for their third consecutive win after two shutout wins against Central Baptist (10-0) and Lyons College (5-0).

This will be the first meeting between the two teams since 2018, with Central Arkansas winning the last matchup.

After an impressive showing in the last two matches, freshman Natalie Freeman was named Southwestern Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week. Freeman tallied five goals, 10 shots, and six shots on goal for the Lady Lions.

Freshman Iyanah Hicks and Freeman both are tied for first in the conference in goals with three. Hicks also ranks first in the conference in shots (13) and assist (3).

The Sugar Bears are led by Emma Hawkins offensively, who has a total of six shots on the goal and four goals for the season.
