The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff soccer team hits the road for a two-game road trip to Alabama to take on Alabama St. on Friday at 6 P.M. in Montgomery, AL. at the ASU Soccer Complex and Alabama A&M at 1 P.M. Sunday in Huntsville, AL. at the Bulldog Field Soccer Complex.

"We have the mindset that we can compete with any team we face," said UAPB head coach Erik Solberg. "If we play well enough we can overcome and beat our competition."

The Lady Lions (2-2, 0-2 SWAC) are coming off a tough 1-0 decision to Prairie View A&M this past weekend. Led by junior goalie Kimberly Moss who finished with nine saves. 

The Lady Hornets (0-2) is coming off a two-game losing streak to Troy and University of Alabama Birmingham, as they head into their first conference match of the season.    

"We are focusing on the present and what we can control as we plan to continue to play our best soccer this weekend," said Coach Solberg.
