#UAPBSoccer Set To Host Mississippi University For Women

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff women's soccer team is returning to Pumphrey Stadium Friday at 2 P.M. for a non-conference match against Mississippi University for Women.

The Lady Lions are looking to defend their home two-game winning streak at home as they recently defeated Alcorn state (4-1) in conference play.

Freshmen Tobi McCoy and Iyannah Hicks have been blazing the field with impressive performances for UAPB. McCoy leads the team with six goals, and two assists, followed by Hick with three goals and two assists.

"This weekend matchup is giving us an opportunity to focus on our improvements with three conference games ahead," said head coach Erik Solberg.
