#UAPBSOCCER CONTINUES 2020-21 SEASON FRIDAY AT LYON COLLEGE

After postponing recent games due to inclement weather, the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff women's soccer team is getting back in action for their second match of the season against Lyons College Tuesday, February 23 in Batesville, Ark. at 3 p.m. in J. Marshall Huser Soccer Field.

"The weather was unprecedented and we had to get resituated but we are still looking forward to playing a great game against Lyon College," said Head Coach Erik Solberg.

The Lady Lions captured their first win of the season against Jarvis Christian College 8-1 in their home opener. UAPB finished with three student-athletes scoring multiple goals despite the freezing temperatures, including the SWAC preseason second-team all-conference sophomore Evangelia Sandoval-Belmudez.

"The team is excited to see how well we perform in our last non-conference match. We have been training to play our best to prepare for conference play against Texas Southern at home on Friday," said Solberg."
