The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff soccer team dropped their road conference match to Prarie View A&M 2-0 at the PVAMU Soccer Complex.
The Lady Lions got off to a great start but could not hold off the Lady Panthers.
Sonia Fuentes got the Panthers on the board in the 22-minute mark to give PVAMU a 1-0 lead. The Lady Panthers responded before the half to take a 2-0 lead.
During the second half of the game, the Lady Lions couldn't close the gap before running out of time. The Lady Panthers managed to hold on to their 2-0 lead to stay unbeaten in conference play.

Isabella Almodovar who had three saves.
The Lady Lions will be back in action against Texas Southern on October 10 at 1 p.m. at Alexander Durley Stadium.
"I thought we competed very well and showed our competitiveness. We faced a lot of adversity but could not score on offense which is what we are working towards," said Head Coach
Erik Solberg. "Heading into tomorrow's game, we know that Texas Southern is a good team, so we are going to go out ready to compete," said Coach Solberg.
