The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff soccer team finished a two-game weekend with a 3-1 loss against the Texas Southern Tigers.  

The Lady Lions got out to a great start during the first half of play, tallying the first goal to take a (1-0) lead by Natalie Freeman at the 24-minute mark.

The Lady Lion's defense also came up big in the first half and held the Lady Tigers scoreless, going into the half with a (1-0) lead. 

In the second half, TSU scored their first goal of the game at the 58-minute mark to even the score at (1-1). Shortly after, TSU took the lead after a goal by Hayden McMillian at the 67-minute mark (2-1). 

The Lady Tigers added to their lead to clinch the win at home.  Natalie Freeman led UAPB with one goal and three shots on goal.  

The Lady Lions will be back in play at home to take on Alabama A&M on October 15, on Senior Day at 4 pm in Pumphrey Stadium.
