Senior Artavious McDyess a very talented student-athlete from Columbus, Mississippi, who was able to make his presence known in the paint and score. He was also a very tough physical player who never backed down from a challenge.

The four-year letterman played in more than 90 games during his career. McDyess had a career-high 13 points at Alabama A&M, a career-best eight rebounds vs. Weber St. earlier in his career, and a career-high four blocks at Tulsa earlier this season.
