Steen Has Strong Professional Season In Mexico

Former University of Arkansas At Pine Bluff men's basketball player Trent Steen just completed an outstanding season playing professional basketball in Mexico.
Steen (6-8, 225; Forrest City, Ark. / Mid-South CC), who's in his second year in professional basketball, played last season in Mexico for Laguneros. He became one of the top players in Mexico's top league in scoring, averaging 17.3 ppg, and 9.2 rpg.

A two-year starter for the Golden Lions from 2016-18, Steen played in 59 games and started in 55 . He scored a total of 478 points, 237 rebounds, and 62 blocks in his collegiate career. He was also named Southwestern Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year and Second Team All-Conference in 2017-18
