The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff women's soccer team heads south for its first road swing of the next three games as the team travels to Thibodaux, Louisiana to take on Nicholls Sunday at 1 p.m.
The Lady Lions (1-2) are coming off a tough matchup against a good Louisiana Tech team at home last week. The Lady Lions gave up three goals in a defeat to a team that came in averaging eight goals in the first two games.
On the defensive side, UAPB is led by freshman goalkeeper Trinity Taylor who leads the team with 18 saves in three games. On the offensive side junior, Alexis Sanders and freshman Lizeth Martinez leads the way with one goal and seven shots apiece.
Nicholls (1-0-1) won the only other meeting between the teams in 2014.
