Box Score The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff women's soccer team fell to Louisiana Tech 3-0 Monday in their third match of the season at Pumphrey Stadium. 

The Lady Techesters (3-0) jumped out fast and scored their first two goals at the 17th-minute mark and 35th minute to take a 2-0 lead at intermission. The Lady Lions (1-2) defense held strong much of the second half on a team who's one of the top contenders in Conference USA until the La. Tech capitalized in the 60th minute. 

Despite taking the loss, freshman Trinity Taylor was spectacular in the net as she matched her career-high with 10 saves in the game. 
"After seeing my team play today, I can't be anything but excited, "said first-year head coach Jeremy Winzer. "It's a lot of respect when the opposing team coach comes to you and mentioned "I think you're one of the better teams in the conference.' It gives us a lot to build on playing against a good team like Louisiana Tech."

The Lady Lions will be on the road Sunday, September 1, against Nicholls State in Thibodaux, Louisiana.
