The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff soccer team will host Howard in the Pink Game to promote and support Breast Cancer Awareness Friday 4 p.m. at Pumphrey Stadium.

The Lady Lions are riding a three-game winning streak, defeating Mississippi Valley St. in a come from behind 3-2 win Sunday. With the win, UAPB moved to fourth place with a 3-1 conference record, and the Lady Bison stand in first place at 4-0 in conference play. 

"I think the most important thing for us is to stay focused and execute," said first-year UAPB head coach Jeremy Winzer. "We had a good week of practice, and its been a mix of high energy.  We ask the players to stay ready." 

Senior Sarah Wright leads UAPB with seven goals, which ranks her second in the conference. On the defensive side, freshman goalie Trinity Taylor continues to make her mark in the conference. Taylor tallied 79 saves in 12 games for UAPB, in which she sits third in the conference in saves per game averaging 6.5.
