Box Score NORMAL, Ala. (Feb. 6) - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Men's Basketball team snapped their three-game losing streak with a 65-49 win over Alabama A&M, here Monday night at Elmore Gymnasium.
 
UAPB finished the contest shooting 50 percent from behind the three point line with the Golden Lions nailing 12 treys in 24 attempts.
 
The Golden Lions was led by the hot handed JoeRandle Toliver, who finished the contest with 21 points on seven of 15 shooting from behind the three point line. Jaquan Lynch was the only other Golden Lion to score in double-figures with 10 points.  Toliver also led UAPB on the boards with seven rebounds.
 
AAMU had three players to score in double-figures with Quinterian McConico scoring a team high 16 points.  Both De'Ederick Petty and Adrian Edwards finished with 11 points each to round out the cast of double-digit performers for the Bulldogs.
 
 UAPB never trailed in the contest with the Bulldogs unable to get any closer than five points with the Golden Lions taking a 28-21 lead into the break.  The Golden Lions finished the first half shooting 40.0 percent (23-of-54), whereas AAMU shot 38.1 percent (8-of-21).
 
The Golden Lions pulled away in the second half, building as much as an 18-point lead with six minutes left to play in regulation.  UAPB finished the contest shooting 42.6 percent (23-of-54), while AAMU shot 41.0 percent (16-of-39).
