Box Score PINE BLUFF, Ark. (Nov. 5) - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Football team dropped their sixth straight in a 41-7 loss to Mississippi Valley State, here Saturday afternoon at Golden Lion Stadium.
MVSU took a 27-0 lead into the break with the Delta Devils score one first quarter TD and three second quarter TDs.
Booker Chambers scored the Delta Devils' first TD of the contest on a 12-yard pass from Slade Jarman at the 8:15 mark of the first quarter. Chambers scored his second TD of the contest on a 26-yard pass from Jarman at the 13:24 mark of the second quarter.
Jessie Bryant scored the Delta Devils' next two TDs of the second quarter from 27 yards at the 1:53 mark and from nine yards at the 00:21 mark, both from Austin Bray.
UAPB scored on their first drive of the second half on a three-yard pass to Jaelen Collin from
Brandon Duncan at the 12:27 mark of third quarter, capping a seven-play, 82-yard drive by the Golden Lions.
MVSU scored two more TDs in their third quarter on a 12-yard pass to Terrence Barron from Jarman with 6:56 remaining in the quarter and again at the 1:10 mark on 38-yard pass to Joshua Banks from Bray.
MVSU was paced by Jarman as he finished the contest with 290 yards of total offense. He recorded 76 rushing yards on 17 carries and passed for 214 yards by completing 17 passes in 23 attempts with three TDs and one interception.
Banks led the team in receiving yard with 108 yards on seven receptions with one TD.
Marquis Green led the MVSU defense with six tackles, one forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
UAPB was led by Duncan with 257 yards of total offense. He tallied 57 yards on 13 carries and passed for 200 yards by completing 16 passes in 31 attempts with one TD and one interception.
Willie Young led the UAPB receiver with 98 yards on seven receptions.
UAPB had four Golden Lions to finish with 11 tackles apiece in
