Box Score PINE BLUFF, Ark. (Oct. 14) - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Soccer team pulled out a 3-2 overtime victory over Mississippi Valley State, here Friday afternoon at Pumphrey Stadium.
MVSU took a 2-0 lead into the halftime as the Devilettes scored two first half goals both Sarah Cenary. Cenary recorded her first goal at 32:16 and her second at 39:23.
UAPB knotted the contest at 2-2 with two second half goals with
Allison Herrin scoring at the 46:25 mark and
Karissa Fenwick at the 53:11 mark.
Rebecca Holmes gave the Lady Lions the 3-2 win at the 98:36 mark of the first overtime.
Cenary led MVSU as she finished the contest with two shots on goal and scoring two goals.
UAPB was led by
Rebecca Holmes, who finished the contest with six shots on goal and scoring one goal. Fenwick also recorded four shots on goal and scored one goal.
The Lady Lions will return to action on Sunday, October 16 against Alcorn State in 1 p.m. start at Pumphrey stadium.
