TULSA, Okla. (Aug. 28)  - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Soccer Team dropped a 8-1 decision to Oral Roberts, here Friday night at the Case Soccer Complex.
 
UAPB (0-3) finished the contest with five shots attempts, three shots on goal and one assist.  The Lady Lions were led by Ciera Fenwick with two shot attempts and one shot on goal.  Rebecca Holmes scored UAPB's only goal of the contest as she finished with one shot attempt, one shot on goal.
 
ORU (2-0) was led by both Caitlyn Hanslovan and Maria Stordahl as they both finished five shot attempts.  Hanslovan finished the contest with two shots on goal and one assists, while Stordahl finished with one shot on goal.
 
ORU took a 1-0 lead into the halftime break.
 
Chloe Basentt gave the Golden Eagles a 2-0 lead as she scored a goal at the 52:57 mark of the contest. 
 
Five minutes later, Holmes cut ORU'S lead to 2-1 as she scored at the 59:33 mark on an assist from Maria De Campos.
 
The ORU would score six more goals in the contest to receive the 8-2 win.
