WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (Sept. 6)  -  The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Soccer Team picked their first win of the season with a 3-0 win over Williams Baptist, here Saturday afternoon at William Baptist Field.

UAPB (1-4) had three Lady Lions to score a goal apiece in the victory with Janet Garcia tallying four shots, two shots on goal and scoring one goal at the 21:40 mark.  Kelsey Every recorded one shot attempt and one shot on goal as she scored the Lady Lions first goal of the game at the 17:46 mark.   Emily Antoku finished the contest five shot attempts and two shots on goal as she scored the third goal of the contest at the 67:34 mark of the contest.
WBC (0-3) was led by Maria Ramirez, who finished the contest with three shot attempts and one shot on goal.   The Eagles had six other players to finished one shot attempt.
 
The Lady Lions will return to action as they will travel to Little Rock, Ark., to take on UALR on Tuesday, September 9 in a 7 p.m. start
