JONESBORO, Ark. (Sept. 21) - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Soccer Team dropped an 8-0 decision to Arkansas State, here Sunday afternoon at A-State Soccer Park.

UAPB (1-7) was led by Alyssa Cobbs, who recorded the Lady Lions only shot attempt.

ASU (3-6) was paced by both Ava Abner and Carmen Simon as they both score two goals apiece for the Red Wolves.  Jordan Adams finished the contest with three shots on goal and scoring one goal.  Jenna Duerst recorded two shots on goal, while scoring one goal.

The Lady Lions will return to action on Friday, September 26 as they will travel to Jackson, Miss., to take Jackson State in their first Southwestern Athletic Conference game of the season.
