MONROE -- The UAPB soccer team has struggled offensively through the early part of the season. Though there was some improvement on Friday, the Lady Lions still couldn't find the back of the net in a 4-0 loss to Louisiana-Monroe.

After being held without a single shot in the last two contests, the Lady Lions had three on Friday, including one on-goal. ULM. The home team held a significant advantage in shots, outshooting UAPB 34-3.

UAPB keeper Alyssa Cobbs had another busy day in goal, making 11 saves.

The Lady Lions (0-5) return home on Monday to face Williams Baptist College.
