TAMPA - The Arkansas-Pine Bluff soccer team got the 2013 campaign off to a bumpy start, falling to the University of South Florida 7-0 on Friday night.. The Lady Lions were held without a shot in the game. Meanwhile, UAPB keeper Alyssa Cobbs (0-1-0) was kept busy all evening as USF (1-0-0) shots, 14 on-goal. Cobbs finished the night with seven saves.

The Lady Bulls scored four goals in the first half, then added three more in the second half. Olivia Chance scored two goals and had an assist for USF. Demi Stokes also had a pair of goals and an assist, while Sharla Passariello had a goal and an assist.

The Lady Lions will return home to face Lyon College on Sunday afternoon. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. at Phumphrey Field.
