Box Score Huntsville, AL- In SWAC action this evening the Lady Lions of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff took to the court to battle against the Lady Bulldogs of Alabama A&M University at T.M. Elmore Gymnasium in Huntsville, AL.

 The Lady Lions had their hands full with the Lady Bulldogs all night, as the AAMU took a three point lead after the second lead change, 12-9 with 13:43 left in the first half. The ballgame was all AAMU as the Lady Bulldogs never relinquished the lead for the rest of the night.

The Lady Bulldogs would take an 11 point lead into locker room for the intermission.

The second half was pretty much a mirror image of the first half as the Lady Bulldogs would stretch their lead to as much as 20 with 6:13 left in the ball game. The Lady Lions would chip away at the Lady Bulldogs lead but would come short as time expired leaving the Lady Bulldogs victorious 59-48.
Christina Lasane led the way for the Lady Lions with 19 points. Chigozianyi Okumabua added 14 points and grabbed five rebounds. Lakendra Marsh contributed seven points.

Jasmine Sanders, of Alabama A&M, was the game's leading scorer with 20 points and 11 rebounds.

The Lady Lions return home to host the Lady Jags of Southern University Saturday, February 9^th at the H.O. Clemmons Arena. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:00 PM.
