PRAIRIE VIEW -- The Lady Lions had their offense squeezed in a 2-0 loss to Prairie View on Friday night. UAPB (2-13-2, 0-1-1 in SWAC) had only two shots in the game. Meanwhile, PVAM had 26 shots, 12 on goal.

The Lady Panthers scored once in each half. Katherine Sheppard netted the first goal off of an assist from Celene Batrez in the 9th minute. Then, in the second half, Debbie Arguelles added some insurance with a goal off of a corner kick. She directed the shot in off of an assist from Melissa Kalbfleisch.

UAPB keeper finished the match with nine saves.

The Lady Lions remain in Texas for another important SWAC match on Sunday afternoon at Texas Southern.
