Box Score Pine Bluff, AR- It was Military and First Responders Appreciation Night at H. O. Clemmons Arena as the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Lady Lions hosted the Lady Bulldogs of Alabama A&M.

Alabama A&M jumped out to a four to zero run and didn't relinquish the lead for the rest of the night. The Lady Bulldogs pushed the lead to 19 points late in the first half and were able to hold off the Lady lions for a 73-62 final.

Lakendra Marsh led the scoring efforts for the Lady Lions with 20 points on seven-of- fifteen shooting. Chigozianyi Okwumbua dropped in 16 points and went six-of-seven from the free throw line. Freshman Cassidy Wright added 10 points.

The Lady Bulldogs had five players in double figures. Brittney Strickland led the way for A&M with 14 points.

Next up for the Lady Lions is a road swing to Southern and Alcorn State. The Lady Lions return home on January 19^th, as they play host to the Lady Tigers of Texas Southern. Tipoff is set for 5:00 PM.
