Box Score Pine Bluff, AR- The Lady Lions lost to the University of Louisiana Monroe 0-3. The Lady Lions continued on perfecting their team chemistry and cohesion. At today's soccer game, they more than doubled the number of shot attempts taken since the last time they took the field. They battled hard in the first half and were powered up by
Czelene Carrera, who was an assertive leader in shot attempts.
The goalkeeper for the Lady Lions,
Alyssa Cobbs, had a total of seven saves. Her effort was one of the many significant contributions that helped the Lady Lions fend off nineteen shot attempts from the Warhawks.
At the forty-eight minute marker, the Warhawks regrouped and scored their first goal. The Warhawks added two more goals at the fifty-second and seventy minute marker and concluded with 3-0 as the final score.
