Box Score Pine Bluff, AR-The Lady Lions were defeated by Western Illinois 0-8. Although the score does not reflect the performance, the Lady Lions battled with great tenacity and persistence. As a team, they had a total of nine saves and were able to successfully fend off forty shot attempts against the Lady Leather Necks.
Dually noted, the Lady Lions have been experiencing a few changes dealing with the coaching staff and the roster. However Coach Naraine, our newest member to our Golden Lion family, is working diligently to restoring and rebuilding the soccer program to its well-known championship stature.
Our Lady Lions have encountered some challenges this year as they have begun their season with a record of 0-3. Be sure to cheer on your Lady Lions to victory at their next home game on August 29 at 4 PM. They will be playing host to the University of Louisiana Monroe. Who Are You Rootin' for?!
