Eleven minutes later, junior midfielder
Taryn Wright scored her second goal of the year with an assist from
Silvia Fuentes. The Lady Lions continued to dominate the game and added one more goal just before half time. At the 43
rd minute Fuentes was again involved in the play with assisting a goal scored by
Rachel Harker. Harker scored two goals on Friday's game and one today totaling seven goals so far this year.
“Rachel is a leader on the field and she is playing like a true senior by grinding it out in the midfield, winning balls in the air and getting back on defense. But she is also getting in on the offense and she played awesome this weekend,” said Mazza.
Senior forward
Nicole Parks-Powell capped off the Lady Lions scoring campaign with a goal in the 64
th minute. Fuentes and Harker were involved in assisting Parks-Powell's ninth goal of the season.
